3D BIOPRINTING

Bioprinting is a technology derived from additive manufacturing and 3D printing, producing three-dimensional structures, layer by layer, from a digital model (CAD) using different biomaterials and cell types. The spheroid- and organoid-based technologies developed by Gcell can be used as building blocks in 3D Bioprinting to achieve biological tissues on a macro scale.

Laboratory-constructed biological tissues using 3D bioprinting are excellent alternatives to medical devices and prostheses and are part of advanced therapy products in regenerative medicine.

Gcell works on customized 3D bioprinting projects through service provision and open innovation projects for public and private companies and science and technology institutions.
